Bio

Kurt Anthony Krug is an instructor in the School of Journalism at Michigan State University. He has taught the entertainment writing/reporting class in the J-School on an adjunct basis since 2014. He has more than 20 years of experience in journalism and public relations. In addition to teaching at MSU, he is a public relations specialist for Henry Ford College in Dearborn. Previously, he worked in public relations in the automotive industry.

His articles have appeared in the Detroit Free Press, The Detroit News, The Oakland Press, The Ann Arbor News, USA Today, Reuters, The Seattle Times, The Dallas Morning News, Detroit Legal News, Detroit Metro Times, Dearborn Times-Herald, Ambassador Magazine, and numerous other media outlets.

Krug has a B.A. in journalism/public relations from MSU and an M.A.in English/film studies from Wayne State University in Detroit.
