Drop-In Career Advising
The Career Center has daily drop in advising for quick questions. We can help you with your application documents, set up a search for part-time and on-campus jobs, internships, and full time jobs, and explore career opportunities.
Drop in Advising is offered during the Fall and Spring semesters, M-F 10am-3pm.
If you are off campus, or can't find a time to meet with an advisor but need your documents reviewed, take advantage of our new resume drop box.
Simply fill out the form and upload your resume or cover letter. Our Career Center staff will review your uploaded document and send feedback within 3-5 business days.

There are numerous internship opportunities including paid and unpaid opportunities, internships for academic credit, as well as the opportunity to complete an internship abroad.
The ComArtSci Career Center recommends 2-3 experiences or internships in areas related to your major field of study prior to graduation. In addition to the resources below, it is recommended that you explore the websites of agencies, companies and organizations in your field to find other experiential learning opportunities available.

If you already have an internship secured you may be eligible to receive a financial assistance award from the Career Center to help offset the cost of completing your internship.
Internship abroad or study away experiences (programs coordinated through MSU or outside vendors) are not eligible for the award.
ComArtSci student, Chase Maples, spent the summer of 2021 interning at AutoZone as a user experience researcher. During the internship, Maples' primary functions were to build user reports and interview participants to understand how consumers interact with the AutoZone website. While completing those tasks, he also performed qualitative data analyses that included affinity diagrams, tree-testing, A-B testing, and open and closed card sorting.Read more
