Please be aware that to be eligible to apply, students must have a declared major in the College of Communication Arts and Sciences, have a 2.5 or higher cumulative GPA, and be officially accepted into a ComArtSci sponsored education abroad program or the Washington, DC education away program to be eligible for education abroad scholarships.
Students must also have a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on file with the MSU Financial Aid Office for the correct semester. For example, if your program takes place in Summer 2027 semester, you will need to submit a FAFSA for the Fall 2026/Summer 2027 academic year.
The application deadline for Spring 2027 and Spring Break 2027 programs are due by Monday, October 5, 2026. The deadline for Summer 2027 and Fall 2027 programs are due by Monday, March 8, 2027.
