Our research aims to better understand communication sciences and communication disorders. We work in a number of labs on MSU's campus and typically focus our research on speech and language processes as well as communication rehabilitation, among others. Our goal is to translate the knowledge we learn through research in practical, clinical breakthroughs.
Researchers in our Developmental Speech Laboratory have received a $3.1 million grant from the National Institutes of Health to launch the first large-scale, five-year study examining how stuttering affects children’s lives beyond speech.
