The College of Communication Arts and Sciences and the College of Arts and Letters return to the Traverse City Film Festival to showcase new student multimedia experiences.

  • Faculty Workshops: Two MSU faculty members, Troy Hale and Amol Pavangadkar, are leading workshops during TCFF.
    • Filmmaking, Bollywood-Style: Amol Pavangadkar introduces you to the culture, economics, production style, dances, colors and music of Indian filmmaking
      • Thursday, August 1 at noon
    • Reel Resumes: Troy Hale will teach you how to use your short films as your calling card and the importance of a reel as your resume
      • Thursday, August 1 at 3 p.m.
  • MSU Shorts: A 100-minute block containing 7 student-produced films.
    • Saturday, August 3 at 12 p.m. at Old Town Playhouse
  • MSU @ TCFF Screening Party: A celebration of student work and a chance for alumni to interact.
    • Saturday August 3 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Rare Bird Brewpub, 229 Lake Ave., Traverse City, MI
