About Roger

I am an executive recruiter and I love what I do. When a placement comes together, great things happen: a great person gets a great job and a great company gets a great new employee.

After a long career in media sales and sales leadership with some of the best publications in the country, I woke up one day and realized that my business, which ran on relationships, was no longer functioning in the same way. I felt like a dinosaur. I also didn’t have a clue as to what else I could be doing.

My media career included executive roles at The Wall Street Journal, Southern Living, Texas Monthly, Chicago Magazine, Sports Illustrated and Media Networks. I also co-foundedKelly/Tremblay & Co., a regional rep firm based in Dallas.

I hold B.A. and M.A. degrees from Michigan State University where I am a very active alum. I am proud to say I have mentored numerous M.S.U. students as they embark on new careers, and I still keep in touch with almost all of them.  I have served on many boards at M.S.U. and many local non-profit groups.  I was honored with the Alumni Service Award by the M.S.U. Alumni Association and I was also presented with the Mary Henry Award by the Dallas Chapter of The Dream Fund.
