ComArtSci Makes Princeton Review's 2025 List of Top Undergrad Schools for Game Design

The Princeton Review updated their Top 50 Undergrad Schools for Game Design ranking list March 18 along with a companion list of Top 25 Graduate Schools for Game Design for 2025.

Michigan State University’s undergraduate program, including the B.A. in Games and Interactive Media and the Minor in Game Design and Development, as well as the graduate-level Serious Games Graduate Certificate, were among the top in the nation.  

The education services company which is known for its school rankings in dozens of categories continues to name MSU on its Top Game Design Schools list. For 2025, the game design programs at ComArtSci rank #10 Undergraduate, #1 in Undergraduate Midwest, #9 in Graduate, and #1 in Graduate Midwest.  

The schools are chosen for the 2025 lists based on a survey they conducted in 2024 of administrators at 150 institutions offering game design studies. More than 40 data points from the survey were taken into account in the school selections and ranking list tallies.
