ComArtSci Announces Distinguished Alumni to be Honored in April, Ceremony Postponed

Please note: The ceremony has been postponed to protect everyone's safety during the health pandemic. A virtual ceremony will be held on October 23, 2020.

Alumni, Faculty and Staff Will Be Recognized During The Celebration

A slate of exceptional Spartans will be honored by the MSU College of Communication Arts and Sciences in April for their extraordinary achievement, professional success, and commitment to the greater good.

Each year, the College recognizes a new class of alumni honorees selected by the ComArtSci Alumni Board and also faculty, staff and industry professionals at “The Celebration” awards ceremony and strolling dinner.

Six alumni will receive the Outstanding Alumni Award, an honor recognizing ComArtSci graduates who have obtained the highest level of professional or academic achievement and demonstrated service to the college and community. One alumna will receive the College’s Rising Star Award for her strong record of accomplishment and service to the community.

“Each and every day, ComArtSci Spartans are making a difference and affecting complex and critical issues,” said ComArtSci Alumni Board President and telecommunication alumnus Jeff Genthner. “We are proud to recognize this class of alumni for their creativity, innovation and research, and look forward to celebrating their accomplishments in April.”
