Bio
Media & Information Undergraduate Director
Valeta Wensloff is the Undergraduate Director for the Department of Media and Information. In that role, she oversees curriculum development for the two undergraduate degrees: Information Science and Games & Interactive Media. She teaches classes and specializes in UX/UI, game writing, game interface design, and visual design. She also evangelizes for the department by designing public-facing graphical assets such as brochures, posters and websites for programs, grants, publications, events, and community outreach.
She received her M.A. from the Department of Media and Information (formerly Telecommunication, Information Studies & Media) at MSU, with an emphasis on Digital Media Art & Technology, and received her B.S. from Ferris State University in Television Production. She also has an M.A. Certificate in Cyber Criminology and Cybersecurity from MSU's School of Criminal Justice.
Valeta is also a Ph.D. student in the Information and Media doctoral program in ComArtSci.
