Recent MSU J-School graduate Anntaninna Biondo has wasted no time pumping up her photography resume.

Biondo started a photography internship last week at USA TODAY, where she will be curating photo galleries on daily news, choosing photos for the print paper and editing a few long-term projects.

"I'm incredibly happy to be back photo editing, especially at USA TODAY," Biondo said. "After this internship, I hope to freelance photo edit or photo edit full-time."

Biondo, a May 2019 graduate of the J-School, just finished an internship with MLive. Before the MLive opportunity, she interned with the Detroit Free Press. "It was an honor to be able to work there," Biondo said.

At MSU, sheworked at The State News for 2 1/2 years as a photographer and then a photo editor.

Biondo was honored by the Michigan Press Photographers Association last winter. She was awarded the 3rd place Michigan College Photographer of the Year, and also won second place for a feature story.
