The Street Teams project concluded in 2024. This page remains available so you can learn more about the work and impact of the initiative.

Street Teams

Street Teams are student-run, creative collaborations within ComArtSci. Interdisciplinary groups of students partner with nonprofit organizations and assist them with media projects. They have real-world learning opportunities while giving back to the community.

Mission Statement

CASA provides volunteer advocates who work independently for the best interests of each child of service coming under the jurisdiction of the Michigan Barry, Eaton, and Ingham County Courts due to abuse and neglect.

The work

The team created a communications strategy for CASA. They raised awareness of CASA's mission and inspired future volunteers.
