Yuetong Du is a Ph.D. student in Communication at Michigan State University. She earned her bachelor's and master's degrees in Communication from South China University of Technology.
Yuetong's broad research interests center on the dynamics of cognitive and affective processes in communication and how these processes shape attitudes and behaviors. Her current research focuses on the role of emotions in persuasion. Beyond this line of work, she is also interested in topics such as health message design, psychological reactance, and supportive communication.
Yuetong’s teaching experience includes COM 100: Human Communication (recitation instructor for public speaking) and COM 225: Introduction to Interpersonal Communication (teaching assistant).
