Vladislava Sukhanovskaya got a master's degree in journalism at Michigan State University where she developed a course "Transform" for journalism students on how to cover the transgender community and use validating language.
She covered health and environmental topics for local newspapers in the Capital News Service, the Great Lakes Echo, and Circle of Blue.
She is also the founder and producer of a podcast about evidence-based medicine, well-being, and sex "Nauka v Ladoshke".
Vlada's research interests are on the intersection of gender and sexuality, disability, and digital media.
