Kathryn Genoa, M.S., CCC-SLP is a speech language pathologist and current doctoral student at Michigan State University. She received her B.A. in Communicative Sciences and Disorders from Michigan State University and her M.S. in Speech Language Pathology from Rush University in Chicago, Illinois.

Kathryn has worked clinically in the hospital setting (acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient) with a variety of patient populations for the last 5 years. Her primary focus is evaluation and rehabilitation of communication and swallowing in patients who have Head and Neck Cancer. She is also interested in bridging the gap between interdisciplinary research and clinical applicability.

Currently, Kathryn is working as an RA in the Lip-Tongue-Larynx Lab with Dr. Jeff Searl. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, exercising, and hanging out with her husband, 8 month old son, and rescue pup.
