Bio

Ike Gogolin is currently pursuing his doctorate in Information & Media. He holds a BS in Business Data Analytics, an MS in Information Security & Intelligence, and an Advanced Studies Certificate in Business Intelligence, all obtained from Ferris State University. Additionally, he studied for a year in the Netherlands at Saxion University of Applied Sciences to develop his skills in data warehousing and database development. 

Before transitioning to academia, Ike built a robust career as a Full Stack Business Intelligence Analyst across diverse sectors, including advertising, higher education, and public health. During his tenure in the public health domain, Ike played a pivotal role in crafting intricate multi-million-dollar financial models. These models proved instrumental in aiding Michigan Prepaid Inpatient Health Plans in predicting monthly revenue. Additionally, he leveraged his expertise to create sophisticated geographic information systems, crucial for identifying underserved communities and optimizing resource allocation. 

Ike’s work garnered recognition at the Improving Outcomes conference organized by the Community Mental Health Association of Michigan. 

At the core of Ike’s research lies the primary objective of harnessing Artificial Intelligence to identify individuals grappling with substance abuse issues and gauging their likelihood to seek treatment.
