Help support a pathway program that welcomes and embraces students from historically marginalized groups, urban and rural, into communications careers. Assistance from corporate partners helps us to execute the unique elements of the ITF experience and to also enhance the program through more professional development activities, internships (project-based, part-time, and full-time), job shadow, industry tours, and other experiences.
Our corporate partners benefit from high-level, continuous engagement and interaction with students and get the opportunity to build relationships with them that will last throughout their academic career. Through these intentional relationships, our partners have the ability to share more about their company, influence student career development, and create a pipeline for potential career opportunities.
Help from our corporate partners allows us to:
- Ensure the longevity of the program
- Fund scholarships
- Enable a variety of experiential learning opportunities for students
- Provide on-site tours of companies and organizations for students and faculty
- Develop professional development training on and off campus
- Develop skill-acquisition workshops to prepare students for industry jobs and internships
- Cover essential ongoing programming costs that enable the program to exist and thrive
