Research in the Nation’s Capital: Professors Make Appearance at 69th Annual ICA Conference

Faculty and staff of MSU’s College of Communication Arts and Sciences will travel to the nation’s capital in May to discuss their research at the 69th Annual International Communication Association Conference.

Research contributions from ComArtSci faculty cover a broad variety of topics, ranging from Communication, Journalism, and Media and Information to Advertising + Public Relations. ICA attendees will have a chance to explore the impacts of social media, gender issues in communication, health and risk, the consequences of video and film, issues facing news media, and gaming and virtual reality, among many other research topics.

The ICA Conference will take place May 24 – May 28, 2019, at the Washington Hilton Hotel in Washington, D.C. Founded more than 50 years ago, ICA aims to advance the scholarly study of human communication by encouraging and facilitating excellence in academic research across the globe.
