Students from the Department of Advertising and Public Relations earned recognition at the 2026 American Advertising Awards (ADDY), receiving more than 80 honors at the American Advertising Federation (AAF) Lansing competition.
Hosted by the AAF, the ADDY Awards recognize creative work at the local, district and national levels. The local competition is administered by AAF Lansing, part of a nationwide network of AAF chapters.
MSU students earned 86 awards in total, including 18 gold, 25 silver and 43 bronze honors. Additional recognitions included one Best of Show award, one Mosaic ADDY Award and three Judge’s Choice awards.
Among the top honorees:
- Best of Show: Jamie Arvidson
- Mosaic ADDY Award: Madeline Wilk
- Judge’s Choice Awards: Phuc Nguyen, Richard Mabry and Sachiko Robison
Winning work spanned categories including integrated campaigns, packaging, out-of-home advertising, social media, video and digital design. Recognized projects included Misfit Canned Cocktails, Kaiju Beer, Audible: Just Listen and Never Saw the Light of Day Awards.
The ADDY Awards attract entries from professionals and students nationwide, with winners at the local level advancing to district and national competitions.
