A new study published in the journal Scientometrics shows James Dearing to be in the Top 10 internationally in the growing discipline of dissemination and implementation science in health. Dearing is a faculty member in the Department of Communication.
The study, led by Wynne Norton of the U.S. National Cancer Institute, was based on responses to an online survey by 295 active researchers who self-identify as dissemination and implementation scientists. The researchers study organizational issues in public health and health care among other topics.
