Street Teams

Street Teams are student-run, creative collaborations within ComArtSci. Interdisciplinary groups of students partner with nonprofit organizations and assist them with media projects. They have real-world learning opportunities while giving back to the community.

Mission Statement

The Poetry Room open mic is fast-paced, easily accessible, entertaining, and unlike any other poetry open mic you may attend. Its goal is to build community and give voice to a diverse group of blossoming poets and musicians while becoming Lansing’s mecca for major talent.
