His research is in computational social science, focusing on how information environments, media content, and emerging technologies shape people’s beliefs and decisions. His research interests include misinformation, sport analytics, and generative AI.

His research examines how people interpret and respond to narratives, claims, and sources in digital information environments. He also uses data-driven approaches to identify patterns and examine potential biases in sports, draws on economic theory to study the alignment of large language models with human preferences, and investigates how scholarly communities respond to generative AI through policies governing its use in academic writing.

His work has been published in the Journal of Experimental Psychology: Applied, Media Psychology, Communications of the ACM, Harvard Kennedy School Misinformation Review, and Journal of Physical Activity and Health, as well as in the proceedings of the ACM CHI Conference and the International AAAI Conference on Web and Social Media (ICWSM).
