Bio

Sai Aishwarya Ramani is an Audiologist and a speech language pathologist from India. She completed her undergraduate (BASLP) from Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai, India and her masters (MASLP) from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal Academy of Higher Education, Mangalore, India. She has seven years of experience in the field of speech language pathology and audiology. Her area of strength and expertise is Voice and it’s disorders. Aishwarya worked as a researcher and a consultant in a community based hospital, India. Currently she is working as a RA in the Voice Biomechanics and Acoustics Laboratory of our Department with Dr. Hunter. She loves to spend time travelling to mountains and rivers. Her favourite past time includes trekking with her husband Anirudh and listening to music.

Aishwarya’s research interest includes effects of vocal loading in professional voice users and also the concept of motor learning in voice rehabilitation.
