Bio

Prathyusha is a Graphic and UI/UX Designer and Researcher with over a decade of experience specializing in Human–Computer Interaction (HCI). Her work bridges design, research, and social science to create intuitive, accessible, and ethically grounded digital experiences. Skilled in mixed methods research, she integrates qualitative and quantitative methodologies, experimental design, and behavioral and thematic analysis to understand how technology shapes human experience across diverse populations. As a designer, she lead cross-functional teams to build inclusive, research-driven, and user-centric products. Her process spans the full design lifecycle, from strategy and user research to prototyping, testing, and development handoff, ensuring seamless and meaningful interactions.

She earned her Master’s degree in Media and Information at Michigan State University, specializing in HCI, where she worked as a Research Assistant to Dr. Celeste Campos-Castillo. Before pursuing graduate studies, she completed Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from Maharaj Vijayaram Gajapathi Raj College of Engineering in India and began her career at Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as a Software Trainee in 2014. Over ten years, she advanced as a UI/UX Designer and Researcher, earning multiple accolades for design excellence.

Her passion lies in leveraging design and research to support older adults and caregivers, particularly in the context of dementia care. Her master’s thesis focused on addressing nurses’ burnout and developing tools to support their mental well-being.
