Bio

Matt Pasant is a senior enterprise technology sales leader. He currently serves as a Senior Enterprise Account Executive at Quisitive, partnering with business leaders to drive innovation and measurable outcomes through the Microsoft ecosystem. His career includes roles with Lawson Software, Microsoft, RSM, Forvis Mazars, and Quisitive.

Beyond his professional work, Matt is deeply committed to the Spartan community. As President of the Dallas–Fort Worth Spartans, he leads one of MSU’s most active alumni chapters. His leadership helped drive a record-setting Give Green Day campaign in 2024, significantly increasing support for the DFW Spartans Endowed Scholarship. Matt also remains closely involved with MSU’s Sales Leadership Program.

Matt’s dedication to Michigan State is rooted in a five-generation Spartan legacy. Beginning following WWII with his grandfather, Tony Pasant. Matt’s own time at MSU introduced him to relationships and experiences that continue to influence his approach to leadership. Giving back is Matt’s way of honoring that legacy and helping future Spartans find their path. Matt’s dedication to Michigan State is rooted in a family legacy that stretches back nearly to the university’s founding, spanning five generations of Spartans. His grandfather, Tony Pasant, a proud Spartan and founder of Jackson National Life Insurance Company, often credited Michigan State with giving him an opportunity to build a life and career after returning from World War II. That spirit of opportunity and service has been passed down through each generation. Matt’s own time at MSU created relationships, experiences, and values that continue to shape his leadership today. Giving back is his way of honoring his family’s Spartan legacy and ensuring future generations of students have the same opportunities that Michigan State provided to his family.

He often shares one core message with students: take chances. Matt encourages future Spartans to think bigger than they think they should, embrace opportunities outside their comfort zone, and understand that mistakes are part of growth. “Failure is rarely final if you’re willing to learn from it,” he says. He also reminds students to stay curious, never stop learning, and lean into the power of the Spartan network.

Outside of work and service, Matt is an avid movie enthusiast who watches more than 200 films each year. He loves attending sporting events with his family, whether that is cheering on MSU, traveling to Formula 1 races, or exploring new places.
