Bio

Craig Stevenson serves as Chief Executive Officer of Gotham Greens, one of America’s leading operators in controlled environment agriculture.

Craig earned his Bachelor of Arts from the College of Communication Arts & Sciences in 1988. He brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry. He began his career at Procter & Gamble before spending over two decades at The Clorox Company. Following his tenure at Clorox, he went on to serve as CEO of The Scholl’s Wellness Company and CEO of Lundberg Family Farms.

Throughout his career, Craig has developed deep expertise in global brand strategy, business transformation, and scaling purpose-driven organizations.

Craig credits several defining moments for shaping his leadership perspective, including his international assignments in Asia and Latin America, which broadened his understanding of global business. At Clorox, he led the Professional Products Division through significant growth.  At Lundberg Family Farms, he successfully guided the transition from a family-led business to a professionally managed organization, while preserving its core values and mission.

Deeply connected to Michigan State, Craig grew up in the East Lansing area and has maintained a lifelong commitment to the university. He believes strongly in MSU’s ability to expand horizons and transform lives, which fuels his continued engagement. He encourages current and future students to embrace nontraditional paths: “Don’t be afraid to take the winding road, those unique experiences will set you apart.”

Outside of work, Craig is an avid traveler and has visited more than 60 countries, bringing a global perspective to both his personal life and professional leadership.
