Bio
Ben earned a B.S. in Psychology with a minor in chemistry at the University of South Dakota. They earned an M.A. in Mass Communication at Texas Tech University, along with a certificate in UX Design & Research. They are currently a doctoral student in the Department of Communication at MSU with a specialization in cognitive science.
Ben’s research interests focus on cognitive science of communication topics such as attention, task switching, emotions, and music cognition, via emerging technologies (e.g., neurophysiology, machine learning, and virtual reality).
