Allyson DeGraaf

Allyson Degraaf serves as the Lead Academic Advisor for the Communication and Communication Leadership and Strategy majors in the College of Communication Arts & Sciences. In this role, she is dedicated to guiding students through their academic journeys—offering personalized support, strategic planning, and mentorship every step of the way. Allyson also recently stepped into the role as the Coordinator for New Student Orientation.

Before joining the College, Allyson gained valuable experience as a Graduate Assistant at Grand Valley State University and through practicum roles at Grand Rapids Community College and Aquinas College.

Allyson earned both Bachelor's and Master's degrees from Grand Valley State University.
