Bio

Alexandra Gaitan-Flores, M.S., CCC-SLP, is a licensed and certified speech-language pathologist and an instructor in Michigan State University’s Department of Communicative Sciences and Disorders. She also serves as the supervisor for the Ingham Intermediate School District’s Early On program, where she leads a multidisciplinary team supporting infants and toddlers with developmental delays and disabilities.

Alex earned her B.A. in Linguistics from Michigan State University and her M.S. in Speech Language Pathology from Massachusetts General Hospital Institute of Health Professions. Her professional interests include child language acquisition, early intervention, phonetics and phonology, sociolinguistics, and dysphagia.
