Peter Guenther has spent over two decades teaching individuals to become programmers, software developers, and game and media developers, educating from middle and high school through college and adults in coding bootcamps. He holds both a Master’s of Education in Instructional Technology from Wayne State University and a Master’s of Arts in Media and Information with a focus on Game Studies and Design from Michigan State University, along with MSU’s Serious Game Design MA Certificate.
Beyond programming, Peter’s academic interests in games include alternative controllers, adaptive gaming and accessibility, and games for learning and fitness. He has showcased games at Meaningful Play as well as the alt.ctrl.GDC showcase at the Game Developer’s Conference and spoken at conferences including Serious Play, DevLearn, and Realities360.
