Our bachelor degrees in Information Science and Games & Interactive Media offer experiential learning opportunities in lab settings, state of the art studios and with businesses and non-profit organizations in areas like video game design, virtual/augmented reality, usability, human-computer interaction, and information technology - to name a few. These experiences provide a solid foundation for the fast-paced, ever-changing new media world.

Brian M. Winn is an Associate Professor in the Department of Media and Information and Director of the Games for Entertainment and Learning (GEL) Lab at Michigan State University. Winn designs, creates, and researches interactive media design, including game design, digital game-based learning and interactive health communication.
