Street Teams

Street Teams are student-run, creative collaborations within ComArtSci. Interdisciplinary groups of students partner with nonprofit organizations and assist them with media projects. They have real-world learning opportunities while giving back to the community.

Mission Statement

The Old Town Commercial Association aims to maintain a vibrant business community in Lansing’s historic Old Town district by providing services and opportunities that foster economic growth and community engagement.

The work

The team established a cohesive brand look, feel, and tone for Old Town and showcased their diverse business district.

Deliverables

Create a cohesive brand guide, social media bucket list, and promotional videos about Old Town businesses.

Bucket List to "Experience Old Town." Indulge in a popcorn adventure at Cravings Gourmet Popcorn. Try a pizza topping you've never experienced at The Cosmos. Capture the love of Old Town in a fabulous selfie by the murals. Reel in the biggest fish at Preuss Pets (or at least take a photo).

A collection of videos centered around businesses in Old Town, including Metro Melik 517, Preuss Pets, October Moon, Old Town General Store, and Cravings Gourmet Popcorn.
