For four decades, Michigan State University's Department of Communicative Sciences and Disorders Study Abroad Program has brought students together through unforgettable academic, professional and cultural experiences. Now, we're inviting alumni, faculty and friends of the program back to campus to celebrate its remarkable legacy.
Join us for an afternoon of reconnecting, reminiscing and celebrating 40 years of one of the nation's longest-running study abroad programs in speech-language pathology.
The celebration will bring together alumni from more than 700 program participants, along with past program directors Paul Cooke, Peter LaPine, Brad Rakerd and Jeff Searl, as well as current and former Communicative Sciences and Disorders faculty, including Jerry Punch, Ida Stockman and other current faculty members.
Guests can look forward to:
- Reconnecting with fellow alumni and faculty
- Viewing photos and memories from four decades of the program
- Sharing stories from study abroad experiences across the years
- Celebrating the lasting impact of the program on students, alumni and the profession
