Bio

Alexandrea Thrubis’ career is focused on making a positive impact on the community. Out of college, she attained her first dream job of working in Major League Baseball. Alexandrea managed the Community Relations charitable programs, partnerships and relationships of the Detroit Tigers and the Brockton Rox in Massachusetts. Through these programs, she paired the company and its players with charitable organizations to support many worthy causes in the local community. She also coordinated the marketing and public relations efforts associated with such partnerships. After 13 years in baseball, Alexandrea made a career change to focus on improving Michigan through entrepreneurship. She now serves as the Marketing and Communications Manager for Endeavor Detroit, leading the high-impact entrepreneurship movement in Michigan and beyond. She is currently building and executing a marketing and communications strategy for Endeavor Detroit to share how the nonprofit organization is supporting the growth of entrepreneurs and their companies.

Alexandrea also is an Instructor at Michigan State University teaching a variety of Public Relations courses.

Alexandrea earned her Bachelor of Arts in Marketing and Master of Arts in Public Relations from Michigan State University. After spreading the good word of Endeavor and teaching future public relations professionals, Alexandrea enjoys basking in the sun while biking, hiking and traveling here, there, and everywhere to do so with her husband and stepson.
