Stay With Me, a feature-length film produced through the Theatre2Film program, will be shown on Friday, November 10 at 7 p.m. in Wells Hall Theatre B as part of the East Lansing Film Festival (ELFF).
Stay With Me debuted at the Traverse City Film Festival last summer. The film began as a student-produced play and was a joint effort between ComArtSci’s Media Sandbox, the Department of Theatre and the College of Music. 95 students took part in the production, involved in everything from production and budgeting to acting and directing.
In this taut psychological thriller, a struggling Midwestern farm family descends into dysfunction and chaos when threatened with the loss of their home. For the third year in a row, MSU’s Theatre 2 Film achieves the estimable feat of bringing a student-created full-length feature film to the screen. Stay With Me is a creative collaboration between passionate and enthusiastic student actors, directors, editors, composers, producers and art directors.
