Biography

Wonkyung Kim is a doctoral student in the Department of Advertising and Public Relations. Her main academic interest lies in studying the effectiveness of marketing communication in new media environment. Specifically, Wonkyung's research is geared toward the effects of electronic word-of-mouth in social media. Continuing her research interests in online media and consumer behavior, some of the topics her ongoing research include consumers' engagement in electronic word-of-mouth (eWOM) on social networking sites, interplay between consumers' psychological traits and message frames.
