Melissa Wagasy

Melissa Wagasy has more than 10 years of development experience with a focus on higher education and membership organizations. Melissa joined the ComArtSci Advancement Office in January 2017. She is a two-time alumna of the MSU College of Communication Arts and Sciences with a bachelor’s degree in communication (specialization in public relations) and a master’s degree in public relations.

Before joining the team, she served as the Director of Development for Student Affairs at MSU. In her time in this position, Melissa worked closely with the leadership of Student Affairs to raise funds for their campaign priorities and exceed the $8 million goal. Prior to coming to MSU, Melissa served as a major gifts officer for Alpha Phi Foundation where she worked for eight years on their fundraising and programs.
