Julie Rosenthal, MBA, SHRM-CP/PHR, is a Fixed-Term Instructor in the Department of Advertising + Public Relations.
While instructing students at MSU, Rosenthal is a manager of Internal Communications and Learning and Talent Development at MSU Federal Credit Union. Her experience in leadership, employee communications, learning and development, marketing, and advertising fields spans over the past 20 years. Rosenthal has led the implementation of initiatives such as internal employee strategic business plans, crisis communication, employee engagement communication campaigns, new employee onboarding, annual core curriculum development, leadership development training, software integrations, and service standards communication.
Rosenthal earned a Masters Certificate in Higher, Adult Learning and Education at Michigan State University, Masters of Business Administration from Central Michigan University, and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Walsh College. She is accredited in Human Resources through the Society of Human Resources Management.
Rosenthal enjoys ongoing learning experiences in her current roles at MSU and MSUFCU through instructional design, teaching, writing, graphic design, and leadership. Over the past three years, she rekindled her artistic passion for ballet as a new student learning from two very skilled and compassionate instructors in our area. Rosenthal takes on new adventures with her husband and son to go snow skiing and traveling when possible.
