Henry completed an accelerated Master of Arts in Communication at Western Michigan University, where he studied human-machine communication. While there, he received an All University Graduate Research and Creative Scholar award. Henry is the inaugural student rep for ICA’s human-machine communication interest group.
Henry’s primary area of research focuses on how messages in the media can influence altruistic and egoistic judgments, whereas his secondary focus includes a specialization in cognitive science. Finally, he maintains an interest in human-machine communication, through researching online social bots as social support providers and using virtual reality as a tool to improve public speaking skills.
