Graham Davis is the Director of New Media at Truscott Rossman, one of Michigan’s premier public relations firms, and also serves as an instructor for MSU’s New Media Drivers’ License course since fall 2011. At Truscott Rossman, Graham leads all online strategy for the firm’s roster of local, statewide, national and international clients. A political junkie, Graham served as Governor Jennifer M. Granholm’s (and the State of Michigan’s first) new media director from 2008-2010, where he established one of the largest social media presences for any governor in the country. His work for Gov. Granholm was featured on leading sites such as Poynter and techPresident. He also served as New Media Director for Congressman John D. Dingell’s 2010 reelection campaign, and has presented on social media at numerous conferences around the state and nation. In 2011, he won the Central Michigan Public Relations Society of America’s Pinnacle Award for best use of a social medium. Graham lives and works in Detroit, and is a proud Spartan. He is also the Vice President of New Media for the Detroit Press Club and the Legal Affairs Committee chair of the Social Media Association of Michigan.
