Dr. Sanders-Jackson is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Advertising and Public Relations in the College of Communication Arts and Sciences. Dr. Sanders-Jackson’s work focuses on tobacco control, social media, and the process by which tobacco-related information (such as cessation information online or the passage of smokefree laws) is shared and processed across a variety of mediated and interpersonal channels. Dr. Sanders-Jackson employs a number of methodological approaches including network analysis, experimental methods, and qualitative methods.

Her work has been funded by the National Cancer Institute, Michigan Department of Education and the Tobacco Related Disease Research Program from the State of California.
