Tue., Jun. 2 at 8 p.m. on WKAR-HD 23.1 | The Governor Jim Blanchard Public Service Forum presents An Evening with Madeleine Albright, former U.S. Secretary of State and U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations. 

Dr. Albright joins former Michigan Governor Jim Blanchard for a candid conversation about her childhood in Europe during WWII, her career in politics, US foreign policy today, and what it's like to be the only woman leader in the room.

Dr. Albright is a professor, author, diplomat, and businesswoman who served as the 64th Secretary of State of the United States. In 1997, she was named the first female Secretary of State and became, at that time, the highest-ranking woman in the history of the U.S. government.

The forum was established by the Michigan State University Social Science College.
