ComArtSci Research Catalyst Talks: Scott Yaruss

As communicators and as Spartans, we serve catalysts, collaborators, connectors and scholars in our field. Join us in room 151 of ComArtSci to hear from Communicative Sciences and Disorders professor Scott Yaruss on Friday, September 15. The talk is titled, "Unraveling stuttering: Multiple perspectives on a complex condition." His presentation will provide a high-level overview of how MSU scientists are seeking to examine stuttering from multiple perspectives to identify meaningful ways to improve the quality of life for those who stutter. The key focus will be on the ways that interdisciplinary research holds significant promise for improve the current state-of-the-art in stuttering research and how MSU is uniquely positioned to make substantive improvements in our understanding of the nature and treatment of stuttering.
