Dennis Bulgarelli, Vice President, Client Insights - Comscore
BA Advertising '80; MA Advertising '81

Dennis has over 30 years of marketing, research and strategic planning experience working across a variety of industries and clients. While the automotive industry has been his primary focus his career has also taken him into retail, household appliances, quick serve restaurants and the pharmaceutical industry. He progressed through various market research positions in advertising agencies such as Young & Rubicam, J. Walter Thompson and Campbell-Ewald where he learned the ins and outs of traditional market research. He then moved to Compete, small start-up in the digital analytics space, in 2005 where he managed the Automotive practice. From there he moved back into the agency space with Global Team Blue, Ford’s advertising agency, where he managed the digital analytics practice for the US Ford brand. He’s currently managing the Automotive and Pharma teams at Comscore where data, analytics and insights are of primary importance to his clients. On the Pharma side, the team measures digital and TV performance of multiple brands and indications linking Comscore’s digital and TV exposure data to patient outcomes (diagnoses, Dr. visits, Rx) to determine campaign effectiveness and helping clients to optimize their media plans. He’s a proud Spartan alum with BA and MA degrees in Advertising. In addition, he sits on the advisory board of the Masters in Market Research in the Eli Broad Business school at MSU and is a past board member of the Detroit Advertising Association.
