Failure Lab Brings Personal Stories of Failure to MSU

Connect with professors and students about their personal experiences of failure through a TED Talk style event at Failure Lab, in an event brought to campus by ComArtSci.

Hosted by Media Sandbox, Failure Lab will take place at the Business College Complex in room N100, on Nov. 6, 2018, from 6pm-8:30 p.m, at Michigan State University. Failure Lab is an event where successful people share their stories of failure and transform stigma in college culture. 

Failure Lab showcases personal stories of failure to eliminate the fear of failure and encourage intelligent risk taking. With a refreshing environment of openness, Failure Lab helps pave the way for change by crushing the isolation and stigma around failure.

The public will learn how to diminish the fear of risk taking and ways to approach failure. Audience members will have the chance to unpack their thoughts and discuss their feelings by sharing them on social media. Enjoy live entertainment before and after each performance by the Spartan Dischords and Capital Green.

Failure Lab is being hosted by Michigan State University College of Communication Arts and Sciences, Media Sandbox, Spartan Innovations and the Eli Broad College of Business.
